2002
Renovations to Midkiff Gymnasium and the Pool Office were completed at Kokokahi. Laniākea opened its new Health and Wellness Center. Fernhurst sold a portion of the property to renovate its residence.
2006
The Homebase program was established at Fernhurst. The program included housing and supportive services that help individuals regain stability as they move toward independent living and permanent housing.
2003
Fernhurst closed for renovation and opened a year later with improved facilities.
2013
The Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership is established to promote the economic and leadership advancement of women entrepreneurs and women at all stages of their career.
2015
Fernhurst adopts the work furlough program from TJ Mahoney. The state’s first and only community-based work furlough program was named Ka Hale Ho‘āla Hou No Nā Wāhine.
Present
The same core concepts of YWCA's mission still guide YWCA O‘ahu to this day. YWCA O‘ahu is on a mission to create opportunities of growth, leadership and power for more than 4,000 women and girls across the island.
