The Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership will hold its Biennial Fundraiser "Downtown Uncorked Spring Fling" on Friday, April 22, 2016

On April 22, from 5:30-8:00pm, the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership (MCBL) will hold its spring fundraiser Downtown Uncorked in the beautiful courtyard at YWCA O‘ahu.

MCBL's mission is to promote the economic and leadership advancement of women entrepreneurs and women at all levels and stages of their careers. "Creating an environment for business success is what we're trying to achieve," said Denise Esposito, Director of MCBL. "By sharing and enhancing the skills of Hawaii's entrepreneurs, we're assisting individuals and businesses to succeed." YWCA Oahu's Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership, funded in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, is located on the third floor of the YWCA's Laniākea headquarters, providing a venue for both women and men to network, take business classes and use business-consulting services.

Downtown Uncorked will feature wine tastings from Johnson Bros. of Hawaii, Inc. along with gourmet appetizers hosted by Café Julia. Highlights of the event are a specialty wine Silent Auction and a Lucky Draw for: two Hawaiian Air tickets to the mainland, a delicious five-course dinner for 8 at Café Julia and an amazing wine themed gift basket. Guests will also enjoy learning more about MCBL's programs, fantastic live entertainment, and great networking. Ticket prices are just $40 and all proceeds benefit MCBL.
