YWCA O‘ahu Announces 2026 LeaderLuncheon Honorees

January 26, 2026, Honolulu, HI —Four exemplary women leaders will be honored at YWCA Oahu's 49th Annual LeaderLuncheon on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m.

“Each one of these outstanding women has made significant contributions over the years to our communities and the advancement of women in Hawai‘i. We are proud to recognize their accomplishments at this year’s LeaderLuncheon,” said Noriko Namiki, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of YWCA O‘ahu.

The 2026 Honorees are:

• Darlene Blakeney: Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer, First Hawaiian Bank; Chief Executive Officer, First Hawaiian Leasing, Inc.

• Kaleialoha Cadinha-Pua‘a: Vice Chairman; Chief Executive Officer; President; Chief Investment Officer, Cadinha & Company

• Wendy Shewalter: Principal; Chief Executive Officer; President, Office Pavilion

• Dana Tokioka: Vice President, Community Engagement, Atlas Insurance Agency; President, Tradewind Group Foundation

“Their dedication to community service and positive impact in their respective fields exemplify YWCA Oahu’s mission of “eliminating racism, empowering women,” Namiki stated. “Through their efforts, they have improved our workplaces, communities and Hawai‘i nei,” Namiki said.

LeaderLuncheon began in 1977 as one of the first significant local events in Hawaiʻi to shine a spotlight on the impactful contributions of women. Since its establishment, YWCA O‘ahu has honored over 200 local women from diverse fields at this event.

Founded on April 30, 1900 by a group of women who met at Emma Dillingham’s Makiki cottage, YWCA O‘ahu is the oldest and largest women’s membership organization in Hawai‘i. Over the years, the organization has expanded its programs and services reaching women throughout the islands at three facilities on O‘ahu and one on Maui.

For over 125 years, YWCA O‘ahu, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been a leader in providing critical services and opportunities for women and families to succeed in life. Its core programs include economic advancement, leadership, and business development.
