Hawaii Business Women's Forum
The YWCA of O'ahu is proud to be a supporting partner of Hawaii Business Magazine's First Annual Hawaii Business Women's Forum. The Wahine Forum, taking place on July 23 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, has been created specifically for the island businesswoman and the challenges she faces. During this half day conference, participants will have the opportunity to hear from 18 top women leaders on topics that concern Hawaii's businesswomen: negotiation, entrepreneurship, retention, community service, and leadership. The YWCA's President and CEO, Cheryl Ka'uhane Lupenui will be presenting on the topic of leadership. Hawaii's women leaders face unique challenges, and the Wahine Forum is a wonderful opportunity to meet and learn from women who have met and overcome those challenges.  On July 31 and August 2, the YWCA is proud to present Leadership Moments: The Everyday Courage of Hawaii's Women. Produced by Emme, Inc., this hour long presentation will be hosted by Trini Kaopuiki and Cheryl Ka'uhane Lupenui and draws on our century-long history to share stories of our women leaders and their defining moments of challenge, courage and real change.
